Aircraft Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

An aircraft carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the plane's windshield, per an announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane touched down in accordance with standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the city of Brussels at the time.

This incident isn't the first time that a American defense plane transporting a top government figure has encountered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to turn back to Washington DC after encountering a technical issue.
