I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
