Students Voice Concerns That AI Is Eroding Their Academic Capabilities, Study Finds
As per new study, learners are expressing concerns that employing AI is weakening their capacity to engage academically. Many state it renders schoolwork “overly simple”, while some say it restricts their innovative capacity and prevents them from acquiring new skills.
Broad Usage of AI Among Learners
A report examining the usage of AI in British schools revealed that merely 2% of pupils between the ages of 13 and 18 stated they did not use AI for their schoolwork, while four-fifths indicated they consistently utilized it.

Regardless of artificial intelligence's widespread use, 62% of the learners stated it has had a adverse impact on their abilities and growth at their educational institution. Nearly half of the numerous students questioned reported they were worried their fellow students were “secretly using AI” for academic work without their instructors being able to identify it.
